The most difficult, (to date) butterfly we have tried to photograph due to it’s no-resting, perpetual-flying habits are those bright yellow ones that have no flight pattern, just pure chaos. Determined to get at least one “ok” picture, we followed these two for hours until they finally succumb to the irresistible attraction of a Cassia. If only they would sit still for more than half a second.

I feel your pain! I’ve tried to get decent shots of these guys for a while and have yet to get anything I consider decent. I admire your persistence! Good job and may all your butterflies land and pose for 10 seconds… minimum! π
